CPU Nurse Coordinator

Position Type: Full-time
Job Duties:
- Evaluate prospective study participants according to protocol criteria;
- Conduct study visits, complete case report forms, and maintain source documents;
- Ensure that all clinical activities are carried out in accordance with the
established protocol, signed contract, and within acceptable clinical safety standards;
- Perform and schedule nursing or diagnostic procedures (e.g., vital signs,
IV insertion, venipunctures, lab tests, EKGs) as appropriate to the specific need
of the study and individual study participant; and
- Maintain accurate documentation as required by the protocol, FDA regulations,
and ICH/GCP Guidelines.
Qualifications:
- Graduate of an accredited school of nursing with an active Ohio nursing license;
- One to three years of clinical RN experience, preferably in an acute care setting; and
- Active BLS and ACLS certification preferred.
Working Conditions:
- May need to work second or third shifts, depending upon the needs of the protocol
and the availability of staff;
- May be exposed to communicable diseases, including blood-borne pathogens; and
- Standing/walking for extensive periods of time with bending, stooping/stretching
and lifting/carrying ≥50 lbs.
