IT & Infrastructure Support

Position Type: Full-time

Job Duties:

  • Administer company user accounts for network, e-mail, ClinTrak, and other applications;
  • Provide support to end users on Medpace IT equipment and software applications including desktop computers, peripherals, copiers, fax machines, printers, scanners, building security systems, environment monitoring system, computer operating systems, office applications and others;
  • Identify, research, and resolve technical problems of Medpace IT equipment and software applications;
  • Respond to IT tickets, telephone calls, emails, and other requests for technical support;
  • Document, track, and monitor problems to ensure timely resolutions;
  • Provide basic oversights of hardware and software services;
  • Check backup systems, processes, and jobs repetitively and change backup tapes daily;
  • Work to resolve critical infrastructure issues under the direction of remote systems and network engineers;
  • Work with external vendors for ordering, contract negotiation, and trouble resolution, and;
  • Perform other tasks as related to IT and Infrastructure support.

Qualifications:

  • Associate’s degree or equivalent;
  • 3 years of experience in IT Support;
  • Familiar with Windows Server 2003/2008 OS;
  • Understanding of Active Directory and DNS and DHCP components;
  • Understanding of backup systems and processes;
  • Ability to collaborate and work with employees of other departments at technical and non-technical levels;
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule as needed; and
  • Ability to learn and apply new technology quickly.
  • Local Candidates (Mumbai, Navi Mumbai region) preferred.
