Medpace Clinical Pharmacology

Medpace Clinical Pharmacology is a new, advanced, 65-bed facility specializing in early phase clinical trials. It is led by a team of highly trained clinical researchers who are experts in the design, implementation, and analysis of Phase I - IIa studies.

Centrally located, advanced facility

Medpace Clinical Pharmacology is centrally located in Cincinnati, Ohio, approximately 20 miles from the Greater Cincinnati / Northern Kentucky International Airport.

Site features include:

• 30,000-square-foot comfortable facility with 65 beds in three separate units
• Three hospitals within five miles
• On-site secured, monitored Investigational Drug Service/Pharmacy
• On-site core ECG laboratory, which is an official Mortara partner
• On-site Medpace Reference Laboratories
• On-site Medpace Bioanalytical Laboratories
• 24-hour availability of certified advanced cardiac life support (ACLS) personnel on staff

Volunteer amenities include:

• Recreation rooms outfitted with widescreen televisions, board games, and other activities
• Personal DVD players and library of DVDs
• Computer rooms with desktop computers
• Wireless technology and computer hook-ups for use with the volunteers' laptop computers

• Mortara Surveyor Telemetry Central System with 32 telemetry channels
• Mortara 12-lead ECG machines
• Continuous glucose monitoring systems
• Fully-stocked emergency crash cart
• Zoll® M Series defibrillator and external pacing device
• Welch Allyn Spot Vital Sign machines capable of electronic data capture
• YSI STAT Plus Glucose Analyzers
• Master clocks with synchronization to the official atomic time
• Laboratory processing and storage area with refrigerated centrifuges and -20°C/-70°C freezers
• Generator back-up for continual power supply
