Medpace Clinical Pharmacology is conducting an outpatient clinical research
trial on an investigational research medication to treat type 2 diabetes in
people who are taking only metformin to manage their diabetes.
Eligibility requirements include:
- Diagnosis of type 2 diabetes
- Taking only metformin to manage diabetes
- 18 to 70 years of age
- HgbA1c between 7.0 and 10.5
- Body Mass Index (BMI) of 27 to 42 kg/m² (www.medpacecpu.com has BMI chart)
Study requirements include:
- Available for 20 outpatient visits over a 5 month period
- Stay on current dose of metformin
- Check blood sugars and keep a diary
You will be compensated for time and travel.

investigational oral medication for Type II Diabetes.
Eligibility requirements include:
- 18 years or older
- Managing your diabetes with Metformin or Diet and Exercise
- HbA1c (diabetic blood test) in the range of 7.0 to 10.5%
Study requirements include:

- Study-related tests, procedures, and physical exams
Reimbursement may be up to $990.00
