Medpace India: Growth Reaches Cross-Country

  • October 27, 2025

Medpace has officially opened the doors to our brand-new office in India, marking this our second office in India and twelfth in the Asia Pacific region.

Grand Opening

In October 2025, Medpace’s newest office in India started up operations in Hyderabad as an addition to our Navi Mumbai location. By growing our physical reach, we are moving closer towards our mission in making life-saving medical therapeutics available around the world.

Nearly 20 years ago, our first India office opened, establishing Medpace as a core member of the global clinical research industry. Just three years ago, the Navi Mumbai office space received a total upgrade complete with state-of-the-art facilities to accommodate a growing team. Opening our Hyderabad location will allow operations to develop with our teams as we continue our dedication to organic growth.

Building a Team

Talent Acquisition efforts in our global offices have led to significant worldwide headcount increases, and as we welcome new joiners in our India offices, departments lean into team-building initiatives. The India Social Committee holds wellness activities to engage with colleagues and develop relationships across functional areas, explains Mallika Sarkar, Director, Human Resources.

Cross-functional social engagement is just as important as professional collaboration. Our US and India IT teams are working to bridge the knowledge and time difference gap. Neelam Kava, Manager, System Validation in our India office shares how teams are tackling this, “to facilitate knowledge transfers and strengthen collaboration between the India and US IT teams, we have structured our work to ensure daily overlap with the US.”

Leadership Weighs In

India Core Labs: Joining Medpace India at the beginning of the COVID-19 pandemic, Associate Director, Core Laboratory, Abhinay Joshi has developed the lab teams over the last five years. “India has a vast pool of highly educated and skilled professionals in science, technology, engineering, and medicine (STEM),” Abhinay says. “By establishing a team in Hyderabad, a major center for the pharmaceutical and life sciences industry in India, we can tap into this talent to build a strong, high-performing Core labs team. We can achieve a higher level of output and productivity by having teams in different time zones, which is critical for time-sensitive projects and global client support. A team in India with its unique academic and professional background can contribute diverse ideas and innovative solutions to complex scientific challenges.”

US Software Development: “We have been impressed with the strong work ethic, enthusiasm for career development, and zeal for developing both clinical and administrative software shown by our Software Engineers in India,” shares Executive Director, Software Development, Ben Bohache. A leader within the US software team, Ben is at the forefront of developing relationships among our global offices. “The teams in India are clearly looking to contribute in any way possible, and are excited to step into longer term projects and co-stewardship of our suite of applications. We are excited to continue finding additional strong technical collaborators and building knowledgeable and flexible Development Teams.”
