Describe your path to your role.
I actually began my career in a completely different industry, but I was looking for an opportunity to grow in a more meaningful, mission-driven area. I wanted to be at a company where I could continue to grow while working on something with a real impact – and Medpace stood out. The idea of contributing to work that advances global health while also developing my marketing skills was the kind of challenge I was looking for.
Why did you decide to pursue a marketing career in clinical research?

I’ve always enjoyed the creative side of marketing, but I wanted a challenge that pushed me to learn and think differently. Clinical research is an industry that changes lives, and I was drawn to the idea of helping communicate that story. At Medpace, I get to use marketing not just to promote our services, but to share how our work supports scientific advancement and betters patient outcomes.
What role does a Marketing Associate play within clinical research?
In my role, I focus on communicating Medpace’s expertise and capabilities across the clinical research landscape. Whether through the development of digital content, event support, or creating campaigns around key therapeutic areas, I work to ensure our messaging reflects our model of full-service clinical development. Clinical research can be complex, so marketing plays an important role in bridging that gap to help Sponsors and even the general public understand the value of what we do.
What is one aspect of your role that current or upcoming marketers would be surprised to learn?
People may be surprised by how much science you actually pick up. To create accurate, credible content, you end up learning about everything from the science to clinical operations and regulatory processes. There’s a learning curve in the beginning, but it’s also one of the most rewarding parts of the job. You’re constantly learning something new and seeing how research translates into real-world impact.
In your own words, what are three key job responsibilities?
- Content Development: Creating materials that communicate Medpace’s expertise clearly and effectively.
- Campaign Management: Working with cross-functional teams to plan and execute marketing initiatives that support our broader mission.
- Brand Storytelling: Making sure everything we create reflects the Medpace brand, from our integrated services and team continuity to our global engagement and quality at our core.
