Biometrics is the functional area responsible for collecting, cleaning, and analyzing the data collected at Medpace’s sites and the systems used to collect it. It is an essential Medpace service that ensures that accurate results are presented to our sponsors and other agencies.

Key Positions
Biostatistics
Provides trial design consultation, statistical methodology recommendations, programming expertise and reporting accuracy that’s necessary to deliver clinical trials efficiently and on time.
Data Management
Develops detailed specifications for collection, organization, validation and analysis of clinical trial data. They also are responsible for cleaning data within the EDC system.
Randomization & Study Product Management
Designs and builds the IRT system for clinical trials that manage the subject randomization and drug supply for the study. They’re typically designed, built and validated over a 10-week timeline. Once the study is live, the RSPM team is responsible for project management related to the drug supply for the study and data management of the IRT system.
Degrees, Qualities, and Competencies

Life Science Degrees
We seek candidates with an educational background in life sciences and/or mathematics. A bachelor’s degree is required for most positions. Additional degree(s) and experience may be required for some positions.
Related Experience
1-2 years of experience in a pharmaceutical or CRO setting is preferred, but not required. Related experience isn’t required for entry-level positions.
Attention to Detail
Accomplish tasks while demonstrating a thorough concern for all the areas involved, no matter how small. This means monitoring and checking work or information while organizing time and resources efficiently.
