Musculoskeletal Imaging

Medpace Core Labs (MCL) provide a breadth of expertise across a broad spectrum of musculoskeletal (MSK) imaging. A team of physicians, physicists, and imaging scientists collaborate to produce the most effective imaging solutions for a variety of indications, including arthritis (osteo, rheumatoid), muscular dystrophies (Duchenne’s, Becker, Myotonic), sarcopenia, hypoparathyroidism, and fibrodysplasia ossificans progressiva.

Team members include:

• Clinicians: Board-certified radiologists and endocrinologists demonstrating extensive clinical trial experience needed for clinical assessments surrounding quality assurance and analysis
• Scientists: Medical physicists, physicists, and engineers with PhD and MS level training
• Imaging Technologists: Clinically trained and certified with widespread knowledge in qualifying sites and reviewing advanced data acquisition protocols
• Imaging Project Managers: Specialized training and skills for managing musculoskeletal trials, as well as the respective analysis and quality checks for the image assessments
• Project Coordinators: Experienced in Medpace processes for clinical trial operations, documentation, and quality assurance
